When it came time to selecting lights for my studio space I was super keen to have some timeless yet unique feature lights for my space. Ones that would create a memorable experience for visitors, lighting plays such a huge part in creating ambience in any space. And when I came across the The new Tradition Pendant, from Norwegian design duo Morten & Jonas I knew it was the perfect addition to my space!
This distinct and decorative design with its finely knitted shade creates a beautiful atmosphere.
Available in three shapes, ‘Small’, ‘Tall’ and ‘Large Oval’, the power cable is also concealed within a clean silk cord. What I love about the Tradition Pendant Lamp collection is that you can hang one singularly over a bed, dining table or sofa to give a room a cosy feeling or cluster them together for maximum impact even when turned off.
For the kitchen/dining area I was looking for a modern piece with a timber element to compliment the warmth of the limestone tiles. I came across Kyiv Wall Light which incorporates both timber and natural woven fibres within its unique design. The aged teak bracket supports the delicate and individually shaped shade which emits a diffused light creating a welcoming ambience in your interior space.
It was the perfect addition to my kitchen space and this one has certainly been a great focal point for the space.
